About Us

Abbots Tools was founded by Paul and Doreen Holder, who have extensive experience in the Engineering Sector.  Paul began his career as an Apprentice Electrician and later qualified as an Engineer going onto successfully manage a car production maintenance team.   He also designed and installed car production plants, IT clean rooms, lecture theatres and various other facilities both in the UK and abroad.   Amongst other achievements, Paul created a Research & Development site and supervised a team of Technical Engineers with the aim of bringing new products and innovations to the market.   Most impressively, Paul also developed a financially stricken facilities management company, proceeding to make substantial profit and bringing new contracts onboard.

Similarly, Doreen also has a long and illustrious record within the Engineering sector having initially started as a Copy Typist/Secretary before moving into the Accounting division.   Here she studied Business & Finance and became Credit Controller for the parts division of a large national manufacturing company.

With our combined expertise and passion guiding the Abbots Tools brand, we aim to satisfy the demands of our customers Worldwide through the provision of quality King Dick Tools. 

We also need to mention Naheeda Mohammed Hussein, a young lady from Tanzania, who has studied in the UK for her Masters.   She has spent a one month placement with us and has been extremely productive with regard to helping us market Abbots Tools outside of the UK and also with setting up Social Media sites.   Thank you Naheeda.
